Windows 98SE Pre-Installation

Dave's tried and true method of installing on Windows 98 SE:

  1. Install Internet Explorer 6.0
  2. Install all critical updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com
  3. Install MDAC 2.5 SP3
  4. Revisit windowsupdate and install critical MDAC update.
  5. Install ATCSMon

Please note that Windows 95 and Windows 98 (non-SE) are not supported.
